Jones must be jealous

Now that this series needs to be coming to its end with the release of the 4th title next year, Sony brought us back yet another HD compilation. I obviously had to buy it...

For those who already played the games on the PS3, this really isn't anything new. It might be the HD version but I'm sure the gaming experience with those gorgeous PS3 graphics can't be improved by much. However, if you have not played the games before, this is a complete MUST. Seriously, go buy it. I really want to play the 4th title and that will be a nuisance because I don't want to open my CE box. Thankfully I might have some friends who wont mind to lend me their used copies shortly after the game is released :P

In case you're wandering what the box on the right is, it's just a preorder box for the regular game. Yep. Still a good collectible though. Even  though I preordered the game, nobody gave me this box so I had to buy it separately.

It may be Drake's Deception, but it's not my deception for sure

Finally, Uncharted 3 came out! And with it, another incredible edition. The explorer edition, exclusive to Europe. I really had to get that one, and it wasn't as easy as I expected.

Overall, I rate this edition as 8/10. The figure is quite detailed but not as good or impressive as others like we've seen in Assassin's Creed or Gears of War 3 and Halo Reach. They surely could put some more effort on that figure in my opinion. The figure should also have a better box instead of just the plastic inserts, but that's a personal opinion. The necklace with the ring and the buckle are pretty cool items, especially the ring, and their quality is quite good. The 3d lenticular card is a little useless, not quite sure why they added that. It would be more interesting if they added a postcard set with or without these lenticular effects. The outer box is quite amazing, FAR superior to AC:B Codex Edition or GowIII Pandora's box. It's so much better it's hardly comparable. It does NOT look cheap, it's quite detailed and combines several materials, including wood. I liked it a lot, the only thing I don't like too much about these editions is when they come with a box and all items are loose inside it. The special edition included (also available for sale separately) is quite original as well because it really resembles Nathan's notebook and it's a small art book. The only let down is the way the disc is placed inside the notebook, which is quite stupid in my opinion. Still, it's one of my favourite editions, I like it a lot.

... but this made some serious damage that's gonna take some time to recover, and I ain't kidding when I say that. Sooner or later I'll have to go on a videogame diet because if I keep buying games like I've been buying in the last few months I'll never be able to recover from the damage.

Portuguese exclusive variants of limited editions

Something quite rare in the past, that is now becoming fairly common. Portuguese exclusive limited editions with Portuguese language on the box will certainly become rare variants in the future for several hardcore collectors, specially considering it's such a small country with less people, which means the number of these editions produced must be low. So far I was able to get the following editions:

-Uncharted 2 (PS3)

-Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time (PS3)~

-inFamous

-Forza Motorsport 3 (360)

-Gran Turismo (PSP)

-Motorstorm Artic Edge (PSP)

And I am still missing the following:

- Little Big Planet (PSP)

-The Godfather (PS2)

-Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii)

I plan to keep all the editions sealed, but due to the lack of money I was not able to get inFamous still sealed, even though I do have a mint condition one.
