This game isn't particularly interesting, at least to me, but it comes with a very nice accessory. A Nintendo DS Bluetooth keyboard, which is definitely nice. I had to wait for a major price drop in a UK store I could trust. It's just too bad Amazon doesn't protect everything as well as it should. At this point, I'm pretty sure the only Pokémon games I'm still missing are basically Rush and Conquest. Pokémon Rush is such an interesting game that I am still waiting for a bargain deal just to complete the series.

Zelda Collection approaching its end
I'm not a hardcore collector of certain series or franchises, so I'm happy as much as I get each individual game or special edition released in Europe, excluding variants and budget lines. Now that I've managed to get Spirit Tracks Limited Edition, I'm just missing the original Link's Awakening game for the original Gameboy and the Wind Waker slipcase on the GC. I will probably never get the Gold Pack for the SNES or that Ocarina of Time pack with the t-shirt from Germany. Those are two items people bid the sh!* out of them and the final prices are ridiculous, so I'm not even counting those. AfterI get the missing game and that slipcase, I think I'm done with Zelda. I wish I could say the same about Megaman :P

And since we're talking about french exclusives...
I have to thank Yoan for sending me this boxset to Portugal. I asked if someone from France could help me out and he did! Thank you very much!
This is yet another Sonic pack, this time for Sonic Rush Adventures, called "Chasseur de Trésoir", which roughly translates to "Treasure Hunter" if I'm right. This is a boxset that includes a T-shirt and a stylus, as well as a copy of the game. A little tough to find for some reason. It's one of at least 2 exclusive sonic editions like this one, from France.

One of my favourites so far!
Yes, sometimes it's not an impressive press kit or an "expensive like hell" CE that I enjoy the most. Several months ago I learned about the existence of a DS box set exclusive to France and it took me some time to finally find one of these for an affordable price. Sonic Super Speed pack comes with a nice large box and includes Sonic Colors and Sega Superstar Racing, as well as an R/C model of Sonic's car. I know the RC model is available separately but it looks really good in this pack with the games.

Waaaa??? It really came out!
One of the most impressive horror games released on DS was Dementium: the Ward. The game arrived in Europe a long time ago, then the second title was announced for Europe. For some particular reason, it should have been released a long time ago but it never came out and I had no idea about what happened. Every now and then I'd wander what happened to the game. For a brief moment I was thinking to import the game from the US and ironically the game finally appeared as available in Amazon's website, and with it a double pack was announced. Honestly, it certainly wasn't the best moment for me to buy such a game considering the insane amount of good stuff coming withing the next 3 months, but after all the wait for that game I though I should sacrifice some spare cash to order the double pack. It arrived the other day and in fact it's not impressive at all, only just the two factory sealed games with a paper surrounding them. I was expecting a harder box or something of that sort, but this is just a regular bundle sticked together with a paper stripe and shrinkwrap to keep all the stuff together. This is only worth if you're a serious collector or missed the first title but feel interested in buying both.

Game and Watch Reborn
Managed to grab this Nintendo DS console press kit. Looks pretty good, the only problem is that it doesn't come with games. It's basically a dossier with pages that contain information about some of the exclusive titles, such as Trauma Center, Braintraining, Tetris and a few others. Some of the games have their own press disc included in the dossier, which is great! Loved it

Professor Layton
Three games later, Nintendo decided to offer a special trilogy box for those who register the V.I.P. codes from the three games on Club Nintendo. Thankfully I have some really nice friends who sometimes sacrifice themselves in order to help me achieve happiness. Almost. Not quite... at all...
Ok, that sounds gay but I must thank Johnny for offering me his box after he knew that I really wanted to keep my copies of the game sealed (although I did play the games). It's nothing special at all but I am happy with this box. Took him a couple of months to give it to me, but I didn't try to buy it and he decided to offer it to me on his own. I wasn't really expecting that at all, but I feel this guy deserves some love!
Here I go being gay again. But thanks a lot Johnny bro!

A Strange Game
Did you think I missed this one? Emily The Strange for the NDS is a puzzle game based in some sort of cartoons I have never seen or heard in my entire life. But this underground edition is limited to 200 units individually numbered and includes a few exclusive items such as a notebook. My edition remains sealed and I plan on leaving it that way. This Emily the Strange raises many mysteries in my head because I have no idea what it's all about. That's really strange.

Combat of Giants
These editions were only released in Portugal and Spain I believe. I did not find them anywhere else, so I believe they will be rare in the future. They are nothing special, only the regular games with some bonus figures and such. But they look good and there aren't that many editions for the DS such as these so they are very nice collectibles.
The pictures are from Combat of Giants: Dragons with the golden dragon figure, Combat of Giants: Mutant Insects with the scorpion figure and Might & Magic Clash of Heroes with several figures and bonus items.

Coffrets, Sondereditions and Boxsets...
One thing about Europe is that it has so many different countries with different languages that some countries sometimes receive special box sets and limited editions unavailable in the other countries. Like the example bellow... a french edition of Sonic Dark Chronicles. here are several other packs like this one for other consoles as well. There's even at least another French DS Sonic Rush Adventure pack that I hope to get some time soon.

Sonic Rush Adventure promo kit
It's not usual to find these promo editions for Nintendo Games. I guess Nintendo doesn't really care about bribing reviewers like Sony and Xbox with those awesome press kits. But suddenly I was able t find this particular edition for the Nintendo DS. I know there are more out there, but unlike Sony editions these are not wasy to find - at all. I am still missing the Dino Excavation Kit for Spectrobes and Chinatown Wars press kit, but honestly I did not even know there was one similar thing for Sonic Rush Adventures and I'm not even sure if there are any mor eeditions like this besides a particular boxset for Another Code (Wii) I lost once in an auction. Will keep searching and if they exist I will get them some day.

The greatest Pokemon games are back!
It was certainly my favourite game besides the original Red/Blue versions. Pokémon Gold and Silver remade specifically for the Nintendo DS. I managed to preorder this particular edition with a 3D Holographic cover. I did not have enough cash to preorder the two editions, so I guess I'll be missing the Heart Gold version with the same 3D cover for quite a while...

iT ScAreS mE a loT...
... not the game itself, but the fact that I am still missing so many editions of Resident Evil... And I also hate when I have things that I forget to add to these collection photos. Let's see what I forgot to add to the picture:
-Resident Evil 4 Collector's edition DVD
-Resident Evil 0 for Gamecube
-Resident Evil 4 with art cards and bonus disc from the Gamecube Resident Evil Limited Edition
-Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition.
Now let's see what I'm missing (teh horror teh horror):
-Resident Evil 2 and 3 for DC
-Resident Evil 2, 3 and Code Veronica X for GC
-Resident Evil 2 for N64
-Resident Evil Survivor for PS1
-Resident Evil Dead Aim for PS2
-Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles for Wii
-Resident Evil 4 Limited Edition slipcase for GC.
And I think I did not forget anything this time. So much stuff...

Final Fantasy Updated
There are so many games, editions and consoles of Final Fantasy to collect, that if I wanted to complete my Final Fantasy Wishlist I would have to sacrifice many other games and consoles. In the past few years my Final Fantasy collection did not increase that much if you consider what there is to buy.
Before moving into games from other regions, I still wish to complete my PAL collection. This means that I will have to get the PSP versions of I and II, the european version of FFIV, all the Xbox 360 games (there are at least 5 of them ), Chrystal Chronicles Rings of Fire and Tactics A2 for DS, Crystal Cronicles box set for GC and possibly some spin-offs like Final Fantasy Fables on the Wii and Chocobo Racing for PS1. I do have some other spin-offs but I left them out of the picture. Once I have all those editions, I will move to some country exclusives such as:
-PS2 version of FFXI
-Gameboy games (Legends I, II III and Adventure)
-American titles for SNES
-Final Fantasy Tactics for the american PS1.
Only after that I will focus on getting the Original NES and SNES japanese editions, as well as some limited console versions that will be a pain to obtain. So far, I hope you enjoy my collection - it probably does not contain many games that most serious Final Fantasy collectors out there consider a "must", but this is my own collection :) And if you compare with the previous picture that I posted in 2006 over here, you'll see the collection still grew a bit :)
