Once upon a time there was a great series of games...

... that has been losing a lot of quality and received one of the worst and most expensive CE's I've ever seen so far... Yes. one of my all-time favourite games is Resident Evil 2, and right now I'm talking about the 6th game. I don't plan on buying the CE or any other edition of this game any time soon, until I find a major price drop. For the time being, I am happy enough to actually have the press kit! It's missing the DVD, but considering how much money I have at the moment, I'm pretty glad with this!

Resident Evil games will never be the same...

... or so I though after I played the 4th and 5th titles. I mean... the 4th game is great, and the 5th game is also very good, but they can hardly be called survival horror games... I miss the old T-virus and all those dumb zombies lurking around town... Resident Evil Revelations was finally released on Nintendo 3DS and I really needed to play that game. I loved it I must say. I loved it much more than the last few games (not counting the spin-offs). This really takes the game a little back to its roots, but this time it offers some very ugly and stupid monsters that have almost anything to do with zombies... They call it the T-abyss virus... PU-LEASE just call it whatever you want but if there ain't no zombies don't call it T! Really!

Anyway, I still enjoyed the game quite a bit and went straight to the end in just a few days. Also played some of the extra missions and they are very enjoyable, with level ups and weapons to purchase and upgrade. As you can tell already, I got the Circle Pad Pro bundle. It really improves the gameplay by quite a bit. I can't play this game without it and I believe that, looking at how good the gameplay for this game is with the extra analogue stick, it will be very useful to other games in the future. At first I though it would be a stupid thing for Nintendo to release such an add-on, but now I take that back! My only concern though is that sooner or later new versions of the console will be released and the analogue stick ill be integrated in the console itself. This is 99,99% guaranteed and by that time I will want to spend on that new model. And that sucks...

If you have a Nintendo 3DS and still didn't get this game, please do yourself a favour and get it now - it's not just one of the best games in the console with impressive 3D effects but also one of the best Resident Evil games I played in a long time.

Resident... Evvvvillllll

One beautiful sunny day, I was walking around trying to find promotions just before Xmas when I came across this thingy that I've never seen before for sale over here: a Wii Shot Blaster themed with Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles (a game I still need to get). It looked great and I had never seen one in real life before (only auction pics). The price was 16 euros : "why not?", me thinks. Decided to leave if for a few more days because I didn't have that much money at that moment, but early this month I went straight to the store and bought it. It does look great!

Resident Evil 5 PAL Boxset? I really had no idea!

Ya know that limited edition that came out in several countries with different goodies? Ya probably also know that all we European costumers got was only a crappy steelbook edition with no extra content at all...

Wrong.

The Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition Boxset had a PAL release in Australia and it's very very similar to the US version. It comes with all the items the american version had. It's an Australian exclusive, but it surely is the PAL version.

I bought the game for the PS3 some time ago and finished it. It was quite enjoyable to play but... where was the "horror" anyway? It is a survival game for sure but it doesn't scare anyone I think... This game was a walk in a park compared to Dead Space.Still, as I already said, it was enjoyable to play. I prefer they leave the co-op alone or create an alternative mode for that if they want to but this is the sort of game I'd like to play alone. I've had a lot of trouble beating the final Uroboros, and I really mean a lot of trouble. It wouldn't kill me easily, but after wasting all my ammo it was not dying. Even after knowing I had to shoot those bulbs it releases once it's weakened, I still did not quite figure why the hell it took me so long to kill it. Now zombies are inteligent and can run fast. They kinda did that already in RE4, but I miss the old dumb zombies... Give T-virus back, please?? Thank you.

Bought two shooters for the Wii. Both include their own gun. I'm talking about The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Zombie Pack plus Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles, both with their plastic guns. Nice packs!

My Gamecube Collection

Here it is, my gamecube collection. I have the limited edition console with the resident evil 4 game. It's all inside the box except the game itself. There are plenty of things I will get for this console whenever I have the chance. It's not my priority right now.

The collection includes Zelda The Four Swords with link cable, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat wth Kongas, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Zelda Wind Waker Limited Edition, Animal Crossing, Starfox Adventures, Super Mario Sunshine, Baten Kaitos, Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes, Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles, Resident Evil 4 with the bonus disc, Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness. I also have Geist.
