It's never too late to wish you a Happy New Year 2009. It's been a while since the last update. But I have been busy and to be honest, a little lazy when it comes to write and take pictures of the new games I have. I still have some thigns I never showed until now.
Seriously, I expect to decrease the quantity of the games I buy this year. I have been spending too much cash every month, specially now that I have a job. But I need to think about my future, start saving some cash for the next years of the economic crisis, and also start paying taxes very soon. That sucks. A lot. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up on buying more games. I'll just reduce the purchases, search for better deals, sell some repeated and common games I get every now and then to make a profit allowing me to buy new ones.
I expect to update this blog next weekend. Promises, promises... anyway, this is for my personal enjoyment as not that many people visit this blog.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI especially made a account so I can comment on your blog.
I really love your collection, it must be the biggest collection of special/press edition that i've ever seen, its huge!
I'm also a collector, but my collection isn't nearly as big as yours.
Where do you get all those press kits? i have a few, like Gran Turismo 4, Heavenly Sword, Socom, Vib Ribbon, Patapon and Resistance 2,(and hopefully the Ico candle box very soon) but they are really hard to find here in the Netherlands.
Thanks for sharing your world with the rest of the world ;)
Greetings from the Netherlands,

Thank you for your comment. Most of these editions come from private sellers including ebay. I don't have any contacts where I can get these just like that nor receive them for free by mail because I am not a VIP in the gaming industries or anything of that sort. I am just a regular guy as you probably are, who struggles to increase his collection using the few available means. I have to search for these editions again and again and again if I want them... Almost no information is available when you search the web, there are probably many I don't even know they exist - others I do know they exist and lost my chance to get them but I expect to find them some time in the future, hopefully. I have only found two in the country where I live in, all the rest came from different places. Some were cheap, others not. There's no secret in my collection.
