Did you miss my little special editions and kits that you can't find aywhere?
I did... It's been a while since I found the last one :(
But now, a few new ones are coming my way and one of them is REALY important: Sackman will be happy with it :). Just wait until tey come to me. And hopefully will be able to win a few more...

Fact: I CAN'T KEEP UP!

Yes, I definitely CANNOT keep up with so many games being released at the same time. The end of this year has been crazy with new releases and top games coming out every week. My main problem now are the special editions. These are comming out like drops during a rainy day. I can't keep up with all of them, specially knowing that I'm still missing SO MANY for 360.
Anyway, above were my latest additions. No Gears of War and no Fallout 3 variants yet, I can't buy...

Wii like special covers

Yeah I like those card sleeves and slipcases with a nice artistic illustration. I always try to collect them, even if they are nothing more than just exclusive gimmicks from certain uk stores to get more sales, maybe? I only know the ones I have above: Super Smash Bros. Brawl + post cards, Okami and Wall-E. Yes, I love Wall-E :P....
Funny Money

What do the two items above have in common? They both contain a special coin with two of the most important videogame characters in history. Took me a while to get both, but I finally made up my mind and picked the first chance to get them.

Master System Tec Toy: Portugal VS Brazil

Tec Toy, a brasilian distributor for most Sega consoles and games in the past, still produces several consoles and games from the old Mega Drive and Master System times. Some console and game variants are exclusive releases, unavailable in any other part of the world.
Back to the past... Tec Toy was responsible for the release of several (well, dozens, maybe even hundreds) top games in brazilian portuguese. But they went even further... in order to catch the attention...

Quero é Sambar!

With its Wii sequel released not too long ago, I decided it was the time for me to pick up one of the most original dreamcast games: Samba de Amigo. The original version for Dreamcast was overlooked and now became a little hard to get. When I saw the Wii version on the shelves, I got that feeling that I should get myself the previous version of this game. And so here it i...
It's been a while.

Yes I am alive. I just have no time for almost anything else but work, train, and sleep.
Anyway today I ate dinner too late as I came back home after 10 pm. I can't really go to sleep right now. I don't feel like playing either. Let's throw some new pics.
This one's nothing special. The Point Blank 2 box set for PS1 can be a little hard to find but every now and then it's possible to pick one for a nice price. Point Blank is one of the funniest shooters on PS1. Ignored...

After a moment of silence

No time and little patience to update this blog. I will try to get it moving again, but I no longer have as much spare time as I used to.
Here's a picture of two editions I got last August. Two collector's editions for Xbox360, both sealed: Assassin's Creed and Bioshock. I don't have any other special games right now but still managed to get these two. I am more focused in getting new furniture to organize my collection and in getting regular games, specially for older...

Even great heroes get old...

Solid Snake is a well known character from the videogaming history. Ever since the NES version of the genius creator Hideo Kojima was released, the fame of this series increased drastically, specially after the release of Metal Gear Solid for Playstation 1. I was amazed when I bought the game and thought it was the best game I had played in a long time. Solid Snake is back, this time older than before. This will be the final game according to Mr. Kojima (well, the...
Burnout Revenge

This prticular promo kit does not include anything related to the game. It either is incomplete or it really is just this: a crash kit with a camera (nice!), a paper ruler, a pen and even one of those insurance papers with the Burnout logo. It is very original I must say. Another one of those editions that I enjoy collectiong. I had no idea this even existed.
Note. Since I am not a fan of violence, accidents and people suffering, all occupants were uninjured in...
Pink

I knew they would like to release a Pink PSP, but to actually use the popstar as a reference to sell the console itself was something unexpected. This small (but large) promo folder is a 3d paper model (great looking by the way) with the promo disc and the UMD music video that comes with the PSP Pink Edition. A pretty nice addition to the collection, and great looking. I really thought it was not worth buying when I first found out and let it go, but now that I have...
SNES Starting now...

As you probably noticed already, my collection is very poor when it comes to NES and SNES. Well, I already have a few NES games anyway. But for SNES I only had the Super Mario World Cartridge that came with the console itself. Finally, I decided it is now time to start my snes collection seriously. Here is the first purchase: something pretty nice and not expensive at all! Terranigma, big box with the guides and comi...

And to celebrate 1000...

Here's a little thingy I got. It is rare, belongs to the weirdest game available for ps1, and it makes a nice addition to my collection. It is nothing that special, but here goes... the Vib Ribbon Press Kit =)

IT'S 1000!!!
That's right, after such a long time all my efforts in getting the most interesting items in my collection have come as far as reaching the massive number of 1000 games, one number I thought it would be unreachable for me. I wanted my 1000th game to be something really special, but I don't know what to consider special right now....

Eye of Judgement

It has been a while since I bought something that catches my attention so much. Fortunately I was able to win this impressive edition of Eye of Judgement for the PS3. A tough and great looking box with all the original contents including the eyetoy camera for the PS3 and the regular bonus disc. It has 4 drawers that only open in pairs, each one in a different direction. Includes also a card set with three ultra rare cards. I really did not want to buy this game before...

Driver Parallel Lines

Here is a good example of a good game that became nothing more that average, maybe good to some people. The original Driver games for the PS1 were awesome, some of the best driving experences I ever played on that console. But when #3 came out, it was considered average or bellow. This latest release is superior to the previous game in many aspects , which is good, but has not left any signs for a better and improved game, specially considering how far ahead its most...

Get Together... With PS2?

Let's imagine, you and a bunch of hot babes stand alone at home together and to have some fun you decide to... Play PS2? Yeah sure I'd tell ya what I'd play... Now seriously, Sony tried to innovate by creating party/familly games with additional features "never seen before in videogames". We have Buzz, Eyetoy and Singstar. They all became games with little depth, most of the times repetitive and only worth some hours of serious play. This is just the perspective of...
War of The Monsters

Have you ever though of a game where all your favourite giant creatures fight against each other? Wouldn't it be cool? Well, not really, it's a pretty obvious idea. But the game's pretty nice and worth a try. I have two of these editions, but only one is complete with the gigantic poster. There aren't many of these around, each poster is individually numbered which means only a few were ever produced. I don't know how many. By the way the background image (which,...
DJ Decks and FX

Whilst I appreciate all sorts of *good* music except hardcore styles such as most Metals and certain styles of Hip Hop, Rap (and I deffinitely do not like Kuduro), my favourite music styles are in fact Dance Music (eurodance style), Trance and House/Club and similar styles (not including mind-blowing and repetitive Tecno). So, here's another special thingy: DJ Decks and FX edition. Silver bag, card slipcase, two discs, manual, nothing else. Looks good, but very simplistic....
Killzone Liberation

We do know that Sony enjoys releasing special packs to promote their main games. The ones that are publicitized everywhere. Killzone is one of them. And this special pack is pretty sweet too. Everything you need in war is included: A tactical dossier (information leaflet), Ground assault (the game), Battlefield Intel (press disc), and most inportant thing (not!), the Combat Gear (a t-shirt). Bring it on!...
Airblade?

I have not played this game so there isn't much I can tell about it. I found this edition and picked it for a very good price. Comes with a wallet/bag and two discs inside a circle-shaped case. And that's it....
Heavenly Beauty

This ain't your regular edition of the game. Very simple, but great looking. It doesn't contain anything special or elaborated. A black envelope with silver scriblings. Inside, a special artbook/leaflet with beautiful images and drawings from this game. Includes two special discs, one being the review code with a different art work of the original game disc, and the press materials bonus disc. One of my favourite edition...

Gangs of London

To be honest, I don't know much about this game. I've seen many pics and heard about it before it was released but never managed to play it. Then I saw this edition and grabed it as soon as I had the chance. A box set imitating a crime report where the files are in fact promotional papers with information about the game. The evidence is a promo copy of the game. Pretty nice. The edition has an old-fashined look (no, it is not damaged or dirty, it really is like tha...
Formula 1

A limited edition of Formula 1 99 released in France only, in a nice box, a t-shirt and a cap. I'm not sure why it was only released in France though, maybe to celebrate something like the Monde des Bleues Edition. The other one is a Formula 1 2003 Press edition with two discs, one of them being the promo version of the game. A nice looking editio...
Eyetoy Chat

Just a promo boxset with two disc and some bonus stuff. Nice and rare, but no big deal. This box is the only Eyetoy edition I have that doesn't come with a camera. Shame, shame....

Patapon

Another great title created by the producers (or makers, whatever) of LocoRoco. Original, one of a kind. Sure, but I am starting to think originality must evolve to something bigger than just games like this one. So many things to be done in videogames... Hope the future is more promising than it actually looks. Anyways, this is another of the many editions I have and just came to my hands this week. Includes a leaflet with pics and information, the promo version of...

Corrections and changes
I have been correcting some of the older posts and I also updated some of the pictures. One of my friends complained about my bed's square-patterned bedspread appearing in all pictures. The guy made me lose one Saturday changing the backgrounds of the pictures and updating my blog. Anyway, if you visited my blog before, you know I changed the overall background and added a new layout. Hope you enjoy the banner because I am not skilled in Photoshop and I made that by messing with the tools and reading a couple of tutorials. But I am glad it came out so well. Well at least I enjoy it. Next update...

The latest, not the last nor the least

Here it is, finally. An Xbox 360 Elite, with a free GTA IV game. Was bought last week. Awesome purchase. Unfortunately for me, there are only two main consoles missing... Besides Mega CD, I don't have a PSP and a Master System. Oh my god, the first childhood console, Master System, complete and Mint, given away by my parents and I still did not move a finger to get another one. It will come. I am sure. It will come. Sooner or Later...

Collector's rampage, again.

You think I've shown you everything yet? Wrong! Sure, the most important things are already shown. Check the archives if you have not seen everything. Anyway, some of the latest finds in my colection, a few were very recently added while others ave been there for some time now. Here we go...
